You have falx cerebri. You have tentorium cerebleli, you have falx cerebelli. These septums incompletely divide the brain to give support to brain tissue. They are incomplete. So that anatomical continuity of the brain has to be maintained.

You have a foramen in septum between the two atria, called as foramen ovale. During intrauterine life of the baby, the blood flows from right atrium to left atrium. This bypasses the flow through the lungs. Once the baby takes a breath, this foramen closes. This part remain as a membranous part in inter-atrial septum.
