The function of the tarsal bone is that they are your toes!! It's pretty easy to find out that they are your toes if people would just use the technology that we have that's computers!!!

or even use the technology we are blessed with today to see that the tarsal bones are actually the bones that make up your ankle

it is your ankle you idiot! and it acts as a shock absorber and provides movement for the foot

Actually to correct you both tarsals are the bones that connect to your toe bones ( phalanges. tarsal bones connect to your toes on one side and to your ankle JOINT on the other side. the function of the tarsal bones is to connect your phalanges to your ankle joint to support the movement of your toes
