Discription of fuse box in 2001 Porsche boxter
pull out the red tagged post in the fuse box at drivers left foot. use jumper cables to temporarily supply car with power, open hood and access battery :)
Open the fuse compartment (black plastic cover with a hole on the top) on the drivers side, look for the fuse chart (folded paper), if you don't it, then look for row B, 2nd from top to bottom and look for the fuse amps, 1st = 15 AMP (Instruments), 2nd = 7.5 AMP (radio) and the 3rd one = 25 AMP fuse will be the horn fuse. GOOD LUCK!!
There is no fuse for that. The transistor module controlling the blower is blown out. It's inside the console.
On the 2002 boxter in the fuse panel at drivers left foot, there is a red tagged thing...pull it out and hook jumper cables to it. This will give your car the power it needs to pop the hood. so that you can get to battery. the other option is there is supposed to be a catch wire near the headlight that you can catch with a hook and pull, this should pop hood.
Open the door and pull the hood release. You actually have to send power from donor battery to E3 fuse. Once you hear the alarm beep hit unlock button on key fob. Remember to ground body of car with neg term on donor batt.
Assuming you haven't already tried the keyfob button, and it didn't work.... Go inside the car, and remove the cover of the fusebox which is located below the steering column near the floor, and you should see a fuse that has a picture of a car with the front trunk open, pull on the fuse and it should come out, BUT NOT ENTIRELY, then attach the positive jumper to the outer edges of the fuse (where the metal is) and the trunk should open.
The owners manual says #38 is the cigarette lighter fuse but there is no fuse in #38 on my 2013 cayenne
The fuse box is located in the front passenger footwell - behind a cover.
There are 2. 1 is behind the radio itself and the other - 15AMP is in the fuse compartment.
