The 1997 model Force/Mercury outboards require a 50:1 ratio. One pint of 2 cycle oil, to six gallons of fuel.

50-1. I just bought a boat with this engine...how do you like it. What problems do you have if any? Are parts easy to get (it seems as though they are not!) Thanks

I have the original gas tank for the same engine and it says 5 ounces per 5 gallons..

I have been running mine on a 50:1 ratio for a few years now, and have never had a problem
