Children/Babies inherit genes from both parents but not everything comes from their parents, they could also inherit things from their grandparents. So if one of the parents had a white gene passed from their parents but it doesn't show in them they could still pass the white gene to their offspring. Its very common in Guinea pigs and even people.. I hope this helped answer your question.
It depends, somtimes grey, they could be black or white
The phenotype of the black guinea pig is black, and the pheno type of the white guinea pig is white.
Depending on the genetics of the two black parents they could produce white offspring...or a number of other potential colors. The color genetics of guinea pigs is rather complex with multiple genes at several sites and there are no true albinos, however the ch allele controls the production of body color and results in white with colored points and full white individuals with pink eyes. The cr allele produces ruby eyed/dark eyed whites.
4 offsprings
Well, it depens what color the parents are and well if the black gerbil has black parents and if the ruby eyed white gerbils parents are white there babies will probably produce white and black babies.
i have no idea what you are talking about!
Yes. Guinea Pigs can see in color.
Cross between homozygous black rough (BBRR) guinea pig and homozgous white smooth guinea pig (bbrr) produced black and rough animals in F1 generation.
No idea i am guessing it is kinda like people. if a black and a white cross it is a 50/50 chance the child will be black or white so its unpredictable it was a 50/50 chance the baby pigs would be blacks or albinos. hope this helps YOU ARE SO RACIST!!!!!
No her parents are white.
Assuming black allele exhibits complete dominance and the white allele is recessive, the genotype is Bb.
white
black white or grey
