the nucleus contains a cells genetic information
Prokaryotic cells do not seperate their genetic material within a nucleus. Eukaryotic cells-nucleus does separate genetic material from the rest of the cell.
The genetic material contained inside a cell's nucleus is DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid). This DNA carries the instructions for the development, functioning, growth, and reproduction of an organism. It is organized into structures called chromosomes.
A cells genetic material is located in its nucleus. In the nucleus there is everything the cell needs to know to survive and reproduce. I hope this helped:)
In a eukaryotic cell the genetic material, DNA, is stored int he nucleus.
Eukaryotic cells have a nucleus, which is a membrane-bound organelle that houses the cell's genetic material. Prokaryotic cells, such as bacteria, do not have a nucleus and their genetic material is located in the cytoplasm.
the nucleus stores all the genetic information (DNA)
The nucleus holds the cells genetic material in eukaryotes. The genome of eukaryotes is sequestered to a membrane bound organelle called the nucleus. The nucleus is the site of replication and transcription.
