Right now, to me, Sasuke is stronger than Naruto, his Mangekyo is way overpowered (Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu and Susano), and I don't see a counter for them at the moment, but Naruto will probably think of something when the time comes. Itachi's gift might, finally, make an appearance when the two duke it out, maybe it is a counter for the Amaterasu? Seeing as Itachi transplanted the Amaterasu in Sasuke's eyes and gave Naruto the 'gift' just in case Sasuke attacks Konoha. But that is only Amaterasu, Itachi didn't transplant his Susanoo and Tsukuyomi into Sasuke, meaning he wouldn't know that Sasuke would develop them. And what of Sasuke's condition? Sasuke is nearly blind, and I doubt Kishimoto-sama wants to make Naruto vs Sasuke the most epic thing ever, it wouldn't be that epic if Sasuke showed up practically blind. And their is only one cure for the blindess, transplanted a Mangekyo from a sibling, so that raises the question; well Kishimoto give Sasuke the 'Eternal' Mangekyo? But what will be the fate of Naruto and Sasuke after the fight? Naruto wants to die with Sasuke, but it would mean the ending of the manga. And I think Naruto would rather die then kill Sasuke, which leaves one outcome, Sasuke's revival. Edited: Expanded upon.

well naruto will surely fight sasuke i am sure of it because itachi gives some power to naruto to use it against sasuke sokishimoto would not keep such instances without reasons now would he actually in manga of naruto chapter 485 is when naruto faces sasuke once again and it was naruto three choices whether he'll die by sasuke hands of defeat or he'll beat him in battle but since naruto says nether and the third one is not revealed so i guess that naruto doesn't wish to fight sasuke and since naruto has courage and a gift to change people then i hope he'll change sasuke in coming home to konoha and making people forget about it.

Sasuke is meant to be seen as stronger, in the beginning, than Naruto for specific reasons. Kishimoto wanted Sasuke especially in part I to seem always one step ahead of Naruto, so he was a formidable rival. Sasuke was created to be a character that seemed like he could learn everything easily and right away, do difficult jutsu with ease, etc., making him quite the opposite of Naruto, who struggled with certain jutsu and techniques. Now in part II we can see that Sasuke's strength and ability is almost rivaled by Naruto's strength and ability. Both have defeated notorious enemies. They both have their own special techniques that are very powerful and can cause much damage. Sasuke with his Sharingan abilities, Naruto with the Rasengan and Sage mode...they are almost, arguably, equal in strength as of right now.
