Eternal Life
In the story, the Serpent tells Eve, "You shall be as Gods, knowing Good and Evil," but that didn't turn out to be much of a benefit. The reason given for driving them couple out of Eden was that they might eat of the "tree of life" and live forever.
Interestingly, up to this point, they had not been forbidden to eat of this Tree of Life, only of the Tree of Knowledge (i.e., of good and evil). Although it seems as though one bite might have been enough to confer immortality, this can't be the case, as they might have already done it. Perhaps continued meals were required (A not dissimilar story is found in Norse Mythology as Idunn's Golden Apples) so exclusion from the garden meant a cutting off of the life-fruit supply.

A movie titled Adam and Eve was released in 2005. The modern style movie was very loosely based upon the life of the Adam and Eve from the book of Genesis.
Adam and Eve :)
Charachtersitics of Adam and Eve are not located in the Bible. The images we associate with Adam and Eve are charachterized by Milton's Paradise Lost. I am currently writing a research paper on this, and I hope his information proves useful in answering your question. -Ozzy
