Hygieia
Hygiea is not able to die she is a goddess
There is not always just one god for one thing in ancient Greece as some chose to worship local deities as well as the more well-known gods. As far as I am aware, Asklepios was the greek god of medicine and healing and Hygieia was the greek goddess of health and hygiene.
Hygieia , Heba , Hemera , Hera , Hestia , Horae ,
υγεία (hygeia). Sometimes in ancient greek also υγιεία (hygieia).
Goddess of health, cleanliness, and sanitation was was Hygieia. Goddess of hearth and home was Hestia.
The word Hygiene comes from Hygieia, a daughter of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine. She was the goddess of health, cleanliness and sanitation and afterwards, of the moon. She also played an important part in her father's cult. While her father was more directly associated with healing, she was associated with the prevention of sickness and the continuation of good health. It is a relatively new word in English.
Hygieia is usually depicted as a fine young woman feeding a huge sacred snake which is wrapped around her body. I am sorry to say that there are no interesting stories about her. She is just The Health.
