This is the gospel (the good news):

Sin is transgression of the immutable laws of God. The penalty for sin is a death (the second death) the substance of which is eternal separation from the presence of God and all He would provide. We sin as Adam and Eve either by beguilement (persuasion) or by the free-will choice to disobey (like Adam who knew the word of God and had heard His loving warning). We all have sinned (Romans 3:23) and thus are all plunging toward this eternal death.

This grieves the Lord who wills that none would perish but would repent and be saved. The wages of sin is death first of the body...to pay for our sins blood must be shed leaving us dead and yet once dead we can no longer repent. But God so loved the world that He sent His sinless Son who willfully died in our place...He who knew no sin became sin for us (Isaiah 53)

To all who would place their faith and trust in Him and what He accomplished on the cross and by His resurrection, the Lord through His blood counts our sin debt as paid in full and grants unto us eternal life with Him...

Now let us look at a more earthly example to illustrate. Your have went to the top of a skyscrapper to the edge and the signs have warned you "do not go near the edge you could fall and die" (because gravity is an immutable law...it cannot be reversed) someopne foreseeing the possibility this poses shouts out to you "Thou shalt not jump or fall off the skyscrapper because ion the day you do you will surely die" but you are self willed and refuse to hear the warning of love (the commands of God) and you say "No one tells me what to do...I decide what is good or bad for myself...and besides I am not hurting anyone else" (Genesis 3:5) and so you jump (sin) now you are surely going to die even if you do not believe the word you have been told...by gravity you will smash upon the pavement.

\Now there is only one hope. It is possible that if you sceam and beg loud enough and really mean it, that someone could come alongside and help and bring a net and catch you thus saving you before your die...(Romans 6:23)

So here is the gospel (good news). You have sinned and are going to Hell for eternity wihtout hope of relief unless right now you fall on your knees and beg the Lord to apply the work of the cross to your sin account (the net). Accept Jesus and His word as your salvation. Stop being your own lord deciding what is good and evil for yourself (Genesis 3:5) and submit to His Lordship. Place your total trust in Him and read His word prayerfully and accept His loving warnings and obey (when mommy or daddy says do not run out into the street...do not do it...they are not trying to spoil your fun or stop you from doing what you want...they are saving your life). Do this and never let go of Him (the net) and you will be saved

Now read this John 3:3-8; Acts 2:38 and believe the word...in other words believe God not just in Him...the Lord bless
