the hardness vlaue of carbon very much depends on the value of the hardness of the carbon. if it is a high value then the hardness is high however if it is a low value then it is a low hardness

Hardness of metal is determined by the carbon content. HRC is the Rockwell Hardness Scale. A hardness of 55-58 is not very hard compared to carbon steel.
The name of hard carbon is Diamond. If you are speaking of coal then it would anthracite. Carbon has another allotropic form which is graphite.
That would completely depend upon the form of Carbon. Carbon can be found as coal, graphite, or diamond to name a few.
In addition to carbon, carbonate minerals contain
The hardness of fat at a given temperature is determined mainly by its overall fatty acid. It is also determined by how long the carbon chain is, and also the degree of saturation.
Hardness - when carbon is added to steel, the hardness is increased

The term hardness is not adequate and important for carbon fibers; they are soft materials.
Carbon dioxide can react with low oxygen atmosphere to produce carbon monoxide which is a highly poisonous gas.Too much Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere caused global warming.
a dimond's hardness results from a strong crystalline structure in which each carbon atoms firmily bonded to a four other carbon atoms.
In brinell scale ,the hardness value is 180
