The heartbeat of a poem. That is a really good question to ask. I write a little poetry myself actually, and i think that poems are all based on your feelings. If you feel sad one day you probably won't write a happy poem. You will write a sad one. Just as if you felt loved, you would write a poem about love. So, a poem isn't a poem unless you have a feeling to it. It all depends on who is writing the poem, and how they feel.
