If you mean was there a single hieroglyph with the meaning "the people", the answer is no.

In hieroglyphs, many words are spelled out with single, dual or triple-consonant signs, followed by one of more "determinatives" to explain what kind of word is meant. The words for "people" are:

tp

Xt

Tst

All of these are spelled out in phonemes or sound-symbols, but each word ends with the determinative of a sitting man to show the overall meaning.

Referring to themselves ("mankind", "men", Egyptians"), the word is rmT, written with the signs for r, m, tch and both man and woman determinatives.
