Those singers would be baritones. Basses sing lower still.
There are two uses for the reed pipe. The first is the Minotaur door, which has 8 colors arranged numerically in a circle. The notes played to open the door are -- blue-blue-green-yellow-yellow-red-blue-green. The second is the song played in the underworld to lull the three-headed dog Cerberus so that you can get a whisker from him. The 6 notes are given to you by the statue of Euterpe, and are -- blue-green-yellow-blue-red-green.
A note is a single sound, and a chord is a set of notes played at the same time to give a harmonious sound.
Not exactly. A melody is a sequence of sounds of various pitches (notes). A harmony is several soundsthat sound good when played simultaneously.
Some similarities between pop music & classical music are that they are played by humans. Also they both have notes. They are both types of music

The members of the string family, from the highest to the lowest, are the violin, the viola, cello and bass. Without the strings you would no longer have an orchestra, you would have a band, The string family, as a unit, can play the very highest notes and the very lowest.
The lowest note is the G above middle C, and the highest is the A nine notes above that.

"To be prepared"? I don't understand the question. To be prepared for what? Are you wondering what the highest note and lowest notes of its range are? There are numerous saxaphone questions on here. Are they all you? :-)
I think a very high G. But it can vary.
Violins are tuned in fifths, lowest to highest: G, D, A, E
The lowest note is the G below middle C. The highest note is a trickier question to answer, as it depends partly on the skill level of the violinist. Those who have not yet learnt to shift (move the hand up the fingerboard so higher notes may be played) are limited to four notes above the E of the violin's highest string, this being as far as a violinist's fingers go before they shift. However, if you can shift, you can go much higher. I tried to find out how high I could go the other day and ended up just a few notes below the top note of a standard piano. It didn't sound very nice though...... For practical playing, the limit is probably about two octaves above the violin's highest string.
