137 laff points. Anyone who tells you differently is either misinformed, hacking, or lying. Even if they do hack, only they can see it, unless they can somehow hack the server, which is pretty much impossible unless they work at Disney or are real good at hacking. I would know, since I have 137 laff points.
So, here's how you would go about getting it:
15 from Toontorial.
85 from Toontasks.
3 from getting all the Goofy Speedway trophies.
3 from getting all the Acorn Acres trophies.
4 from planting, watering, picking, and then finally selling all 40 flower species.
5 from reaching levels 15, 20, 30, 40, and finally 50 of Mr.Hollywood in Sellbot Head-Quarters.
5 from reaching levels 15, 20, 30, 40, and finally 50 of Robber Baron in Cashbot Head-Quarters.
5 from reaching levels 15, 20, 30, 40, and finally 50 of Big Wig in Lawbot Head-Quarters.
5 from reaching levels 15, 20, 30, 40, and finally 50 of Big Cheese in Bossbot Head-Quarters.
7 from catching and selling all 70 species of fish that thrive throughout the various ponds of Toontown.
It takes several months to do all of this. But if you do all of this correctly and completely, you will have 137 laff by the end of it.

WHOA WHOA WHOA 800 laff points? Theres no way to get that many in that game the laff limit is 137 laff. If you had 800 that would ether be hacked which should not happen because toontown will ban or delete your account for doing that. So again 137 is laff limit.
Max Laff Points for Non-members in Toontown?
The laff limit for not members is 34 laff. The list to get that limit : 15 from starting toontown 17 from toontasks in toontown central and some of donald docks Last 2 is from fishing if you can get 20 species. But sadly due to update in May 11, 2011, the new laff limit is 27 laff because you cant choose drop or lure anymore for not members. Plus they changed the track where the highest is lvl 1 toon up or sound. Heres the new list for new limit : 15 from starting toontown 10 from toontasks in toontown central only ( since donald docks toontasks cant be picked for not members ) Last 2 are fishing if you can get 20 species.

You cannot 'die' in Toontown, but your Toon can get sick. To get sick, your Toon has to loose all of it's Laff Points.

You cannot cheat on toontown you can only do glitches. But if a glitch says you can get all gags or a bunch of laff points or jellybeans its a lie. Yes but there is a glitch/easter egg to get you a bonus 3 laff points.
