Mount McKinley is the highest mountain in the park, and in the United States. Its native name is Denali. It is home to lots of plants and animals. The animals range from bears and wolves to small birds and hares, with many inbetween( eg. moose and fox's). There are too many plants to name! Interesting facts: 1. Geologists say it is ever rising. 2. It is named after president William McKinley. 3. it is best to climb it in April, May and June.
