normally a ten year old girl should be the height of 4'6-4'7 but some are much taller and some are much much shorter but that is the average height.
It really varies on how big their butts are. If they drink pickles and pumpkin spray their hoop should be pretty tall.
10 feet from floor to rim is the standard for high school, college and pro ball. The hoop is often lower for younger kids. Usually 8 feet is the lowest for organized play. Again from floor to hoop. The net hangs below the hoop and there is no "official" height for it from my understanding. For all players, 10 ft. is what the basketball net should be at.
Anyone can play defensive end if you really try. show your coach you deserve the starting spot but it is harder to play DE when your short but if you really want to play it you must be tough and fast.
