Gas exchange is essential to all living organism for a few reasons. Mainly all living organisms need gas exchange to get rid of carbon dioxide and take in oxygen.Blood flow allows for nutrients to be brought to the body and waste products to be taken out of the body.

because our body doesnt accept carbon dioxide in our blood.......

and as we breathe,we take most of it in,n exhale it......

and the other function of our body, that is because during digestion, oxygen reacts with the food in our stomach, resulting in production of carbon dioxide, which again, our body doesn't accept,so,it comes out.
