I don't really understand your question. However that means that you may need glasses. That is very normal and means that you're close sighted not far sighted like others which is okay. Just go to your eye doctor and they'll give you some prescription glasses. Thanks! =D

Is emmetropia farsightedness?

Emmetropia is when light is focused exactly on the retina and vision is perfect. Farsightedness is called hyperopia. This condition occurs when the eyeball is smaller than normal and light rays from near objects do not focus properly on the retina at the back of the eye. A person with hyperopia can see distant objects more clearly than closer objects.

Is it true that people who are shortsighted can see objects up close better than people who have normal vision not far- or shortsighted?

Yes, we can see things much closer (depending on level of short-sightedness). I have found it to be to my advantage when painting details on small models, I can bring the model right up close to my eye and see it clearly when I flick up my glasses, and see it comfortably. If I am wearing glasses (or contact lenses), I cannot focus on the object so close, and it becomes uncomfortable. There is a scientific explanation for this that I once read, to do with the shape of the myopic eye.

What is difference between reading glasses and distant glasses?

Distance glasses are made for people who are nearsighted ( people who have difficulty seeing DISTANT objects but can see close objects clearly ) reading glasses are for people who are farsighted ( people who have difficulty seeing CLOSE objects but can see distant objects clearly ) Distant glasses come in a MINUS prescription and usually when you wear them, they make everything look SMALLER Reading glasses come in a PLUS prescription and they make the world seem BIGGER

What is near-sighted?

Near-sighted means able to see things clearly only when up close, that distant objects are less clear. Another term is "myopia." In the opposite condition, farsightedness (hyperopia), objects are clearer at a distance than they are up close.

What does it mean when someone is nearsighted?

Being diagnosed as being nearsighted means just exactly what it says. You can only focus on things close to you. Distant objects are out of focus. Being farsighted means just exactly the opposite of being nearsighted. Distant objects are in focus, but nearby things appear blurry.

What is far sighted?

Far-sighted can mean: 1) able to plan ahead 2) a vision disorder in which you can't see up close. A definition is "unable to see things clearly, especially if they are relatively close to the eyes, owing to the focusing of rays of light by the eye at a point behind the retina. The adjective is hyperopic. The opposite, near-sighted (nearsighted) means that you cannot see distant objects clearly.
