Locomotion
Atrophy
the movement of muscles which keeps the surface for gaseous supplied with oxygen causes breathing
The movement is caused by the cremasteric muscles. Here is more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Testicle
Smooth muscles
Your muscles cramp up after exercise if you do not stretch
Strabismus can be caused by a defect in muscles or the part of the brain that controls eye movement.
All your muscles contribute to moving your skeleton. Each muscle in your body is connected to another either by a tendon or ligament and moving one causes a chain reaction making the connecting muscles move as well.
Jellyfish have what is called a hydrostatic skeletal system. This means that it is not actually hard. It is more similar to a balloon filled with water. It allows the jellyfish to move in the water as well as allowing its body shape to change with the movement of the ocean and with the jellyfish's own movement without causing injury to the animal. This kind of flexibility is required for such a delicate animal to survive. It's really an amazing system. When the jellyfish contracts the muscles surrounding the pouch (its hydrostatic skeleton) it causes movement. Jellyfish are not the only animals with this kind of skeleton. For example, earthworms also have a hydrostatic skeleton. That is why they can be long and skinny one moment, and short and fat the next.
Opposing muscles use connective tissues to cause movement in a joint.
the agonist of the muscle is a motion that contracts the body to move in its opposition the antagonist is the muscle that causes movement of the posterior and anterior terms of the human body.
a lack of potassium intake in your body
This process is called contraction. Muscles shorten or contract to produce movement.
