Basically, Fortunato wasastonished at Montressor's catacombs and such and while he was in awe, Montressor pushed him to the ground and chained him to a wall. After that he placed a brick or heavy rock to complete the wall (2nd meaning of the masons) and before the last brick he throws in a lit torch ,and places the last brick. And if the walls are damp and fire is locked in all the oxygen is immediately sucked by the fire ,and Fortunato dies of Suffocation almost instantly.
The correct preposition to use is "on page 6." So, for example, you might say, "I found the information on page 6 of the report."
