most paid departments.. like where i work we go into work at 8 am and the first hr or two is daily cleaning like any other fire department.. if we get a call anytime we have to leave then we get lunch and usually in the evening depends on different fire stations but you can lay down play on your computer or whatever its like my 2 home when i am at work which every truck or engine we are on we have to clean it the next morning before the new shift comes on but people calls us hero"s but like i see it just another day on the job loving what i do and we run medical calls we get there before the ambulance does and go ahead treat the patient if we need to hope this helps you thanks
