Yes, the tactical nuclear missile can be stopped in Modern Warfare 2 Multilplayer. To stop the nuke you or a team mate need to acquire the kill streak reward "Electromagnetic Pulse" either by getting 15 kills in a row, from a care package or from an "Emergency Airdrop" create. Once you or a team mate have it you activate the EMP before the opposting team lauches the nuke. Players that are effected by the EMP cannot call in any kill streak rewards. ^^^ however if they launch the nuke , you cannot stop it by then launching the EMP. The emp simply prevents killstreaks from being called in, removes enemy map/radar, and disables certain gun attachments like the red dot sight and heartbeat sensor, all for about 2 minutes

Pave Low= Preddy- Harriers- Pave Low AC130 or Chopper Gunner- Preddy- Harriers- AC130 or Chopper Gunner EMP(Shit kill steak)= Harriers- Chopper Gunner or AC130- EMP Nuke= Same as EMp but instead of EMP nuke. :D Comment :)
