I knew it was the couger. But this AM, I saw a show on wild cats claiming that the couger, puma, mountain lion, by what ever name was the SECOND largest.

The first 2 answers on THIS page BOTH say it's the couger. How can it be both?

Maybe there are 2 North Americas?

Please do your research.

P.S. The Bob cat and the Linx are the only other wild cats in North America, except for very extreme southern Texas, where there are occaasional sightings of the Jaguar, which is the largest of ALL cats in the Americas, and third largest in the world, after the tigaer and then the lion. ( Leopards come in just below there.
