The average height for a female is 30" but there is no set size. There are record holders that are over 7 feet tall when stretched out. They can weigh anywhere from 70-80 pounds up to 200 or more.

Actually they are frequently taller. They usually range between 30 and 36", with males generally being a bit taller.

I own a 2.5 year old Blue Dane who is 156lbs and 37" at the shoulder. He is certainly larger than the other danes I have seen but by no means the largest.

∙ 7y agoIt's kinda silly to ask how big a puppy can get, as they keep growing until they're no longer puppies.
There's no real way to say when a dog turns from and old/big puppy to a young/small adult.
They are the 2nd tallest dogs in the world. The male Dane shall be no less than 30 in but is preferable he be at least 32 in. The female shall be no less than 28 in but is preferred to be at least 30 in. This is from the shoulders to the ground. I have seen many male Danes that are 37 or 36 in and many females that are 33 or 34 in at the shoulder.

They generally range between 30 and 36 inches at the shoulder and between 130 and 160 pounds as adults. Though many grow larger. I know one which weights 190 pounds. The European version generally runs a bit larger than the American version.

Therefore one would expect that a gender-suitable height and weight slightly above these levels would be the average size of a Great Dane dog.

Some, Great Dane's are known to be bigger it all depends on how much you feed them and their bloodline...Male Great Dane's are Stockier then Females. That, is the Average Height and Weight of a Great Dane, But some get bigger.
