you have 2 way to go :

1. Intel

processor : core 2 duo 6800

motherboard : asus Intel lga775

ddr : ddr2 1066 mhz corsair 2 gb dual channel dominator dhx

vga : geforce 8800gts with 320 or 640 ram ddr3

hdd : seagate sata2 320 gb 16 mb buffer

DVD-rw asus 1814 sata

optical mouse : logitech laser

19 lcd monitor : asus mbtu 2ms

or ,2. amd:

amd athlon x2 dual core 6000+ 3 ghz sk am2

motherboard : asus crosshair socket am2

ddr

of course , Intel & amd new releases includes quad-core processors , but for now is much expensive to buy .

my advice:

if u not usind daily for 100% percent your PC , buy your primary option . is not the best computer , but is enough for games , multimedia and some heavy-works like 3d applications .

if u want to buy a really good PC , try one from my list .
