Answer:

The "legal" age at which drinking is permitted varies from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. Generally it is between 18 and 21. Some countries, religions and cultures prohibit drinking entirely so there is no "legal" age for drinking.

Even when there is a legal age for drinking exemptions are permitted to allow consumption of alcohol on some occasions. (e.g. Family members can have wine with meals, Christians can have wine with religious services)

A person may have an injunction placed on them as part of a legal sentence to prohibit them from drinking with no mention of age.
