At adulthood, average for this species is around seven to eight inches. Some grow larger, however.
First you have to realize that they are bout the size of a large man's hand. Most of the bream that I have caught range from 1/2 to 1 pound. I have in some rare occasions caught them as heavy as 1 1/2 pound.
