A Siberian Husky has a life span ranging from 10-15 years. Overall health of the dog and prolonging of life expectancy greatly depends on nutritious diet and exercise. These are very athletic snowdogs, though they lived in temperate climate quite well, they're best suited for cold climate. They need a regular exercise and lots of protein to keep them in their best.

The most common cause of death for Siberian Huskies is Cancer, as it is for other dogs. Cancer on dogs are caused by most common chemicals we use but not even aware that these are toxic to animals. Such things are garden chemicals and lead containing toys and materials. As well as some food, which contains compounds basically harmful for Siberian Huskies in the long run.
