This is a very broad question!
I've lived here for awhile and it varies with where you are, as it does with any large state.
Dallas and Houston are good examples of metropolitan cities.
Austin is a college city undoubtedly, but has so much more than that to offer. My favorite city in TX.
In general I'd say people here are friendly and more conservative than most states.
