Livestock in Iceland

The main livestock in Iceland are mainly Cheap, Cows, Horses, Chickens and Pigs. Wild animals include and Reindeers and various species of birds that are hunted with permits issued by the government of Iceland.

Recently, the Government of Iceland allowed Whales to be fished again after nearly 25 years of fishing ban, but in very limited numbers.

Fish is also one of the main food produces exported from Iceland, although it would not be classified as Livestock.
