the 225 was a slant 6 not a v8
Yes, there are three. Two for the water jacket and one for the cam shaft.
the water jacket plugs are: 2 in front (1 on each side just below heads) 2 in the rear (same location as front and behind the flywheel) 2 on each side (foward plugs behind mounts. rear plugs 1 behind starter(if bottom mount) and 1 in front of oil filter boss.) hope this helps...
No spark plugs have nothing to do with water in your cylinders. I would guess a bad head gasket, worped head or cracked in the water jacket might be a closer bet. Hope this helps.
down below on both sides of engine!!
That gives you access to the water jacket. I've used it for temp sensors.
water jacket saves us from the force of the water we are in.
Mine was on the drivers side head next to exhaust manifold between #2 and #4 plugs, have seen some on top of motor on the intake at the front in the water jacket, make sure the wire stay's away from the ex manifold to avoid burning too and grounding itself to it
The jacket (lagging) stops the heat of the hot water from escaping into the atmosphere.
It is a thermal jacket that fits over the tank to insulate it
