The North Pole 90 degrees N
As far as I now there is no universally accepted "artic" on maps. However what I think is meant here is Arctic. With a "c" in it. In which case it would be located at the northernly most part of a World Map.
The Arctic includes the Arctic Ocean (which overlies the North Pole) and parts of Canada, Greenland (a territory of Denmark), Russia, the United States (Alaska), Iceland, Norway, Sweden and Finland.1

There is no soil at the Arctic (location of the graphical North Pole). It is an area of thick, solid ice, floating on the Arctic Ocean (sometimes known as the Northern Ocean).
