The state's legal age of majority which is 18.
You really can get married at any age, You just have to have a parental consent on both sides.
Yes. 16 is the lowest age at which someone can get married in Texas. But they must have parental consent.
No where. The lowest age most countries will consider is 16.
You need to be at least 18 yrs of age to get married to a US citizen. Some countries have a higher or lower age limit slab. 18 yrs is the time when an individual is said to be mentally mature to take on the responsibilities of life. The same age if you were a citizen. It varies from state to state but it's generally 18 or 16 with parental consent.
No, you would need parental consent to move out at 16. Without you have to wait until you are 18 (the lowest in the US) in most states.
You can not. You also need the courts consent at 14. I do however think this is not legal in most states and that the lowest allowed is 15.
If you're in the US, the age is 18.
You can marry at any age as long as you have consent from your parent or guardian.
"Hispanic" countries each have their own law codes and the minimum age to get married varies in the various countries from 16-18-21 years of age. The younger minimum ages often depend on parental consent. For example, without parental consent in Brazil the age of consent is twenty one. In some countries, the age for young men and women is different with minimum age for women being sixteen and men being eighteen. Spain once had the lowest minimum age at fourteen but that was recently changed to sixteen in 2013. You need to check the law for each particular country.
Right now (Aug. 18, 2007) Arkansas law says that ANY person who is not pregnant may marry in Arkansas at ANY age with parental permission! The mistakenly-worded law reads as follows: "In order for a person who is younger than eighteen (18) years of age and who is not pregnant to obtain a marriage license, the person must provide the county clerk with evidence of parental consent to the marriage." (The word "not" before "pregnant" was not supposed to be there.) This new law took effect July 31, 2007. Since the Arkansas legislature is adjourned through year end, the Governor may need to call a special session to correct the law.(This information was found in--not quoted from--an 8/18/07 AP article titled "Error in Ark. law allows children to wed".) Oct. 11, 2007 update: The law remains the same. Arkansas governor Mke Beebe declined to call a special session, saying the Arkansas Code Revision Commission could correct the error. But on October 10, an Arkansas circuit judge ruled that the commission did not have the power to make changes to the law's meaning; only the legislature did.If and when the law is corrected, this answer must be updated. The lowest legal age anywhere in North America to get married without parental permission is 18. Most states will allow 16 or 17 with parental consent.
