1968 is when Cadillac introduced its new 472 cu inch 8 cylinder 525 ft lbs torque engine. In 1969 a larger 500 cu inch version was available. It was the only engine Cadillac offered from 1968 to 1972.
Check out this web site. It contains information beyond your wildest dreams about the 1963 Cadillac Fleetwood. You did not specify whether this was a Series Seventy Five or the Sedan. It makes a difference. (I have a 1968 Fleetwood Series 75.) http://100megsfree4.com/cadillac/cad1960/cad63f.htm Good Luck
No they are not. 1968 fenders are different than 1965, 66 or 67. The side marker lamps are different. Take a look at a picture of a 1968 cadillac and a 1967 cadillac to see the differences.
The question has many correct answers as the Deville model saw no fewer than a two-dozen different engine sizes and configurations over its production run from 1949 to 2005. For example in 1968 the Deville was clocked at 8.5 seconds 0-60. However, the older models were no doubt not as swift while later models would most likely out-perform their older cousins.
