the main cause is that they run out of resources.
A hole in the ozone is a big threat. It can cause humans and other organisms to extinct.
the cause of the insect population increasing is that the animals are becoming extinct.
If one of the main sources of food became extinct.
The lack of care by the human race, in indiscriminate fishing is the BIGGEST cause !
it is nothing. the vultures already extinct then why do you want to know the cause?
If an animal has become extinct the animals preys population would grow this would cause the preys prey to become endangered or extinct. The animals predator would not have as much to eat.
overpopulation
Possible causes for a decrease in organisms in a habitat include habitat destruction or degradation, changes in environmental conditions such as extreme weather events, pollution, competition with other species, or predation. These factors can lead to a loss of resources, decline in population size, or displacement of the organisms from their habitat.
Cause
Diseases do not cause unicellular organisms; unicellular organisms cause diseases.
Which of these is not a reason that species become extinct
dolphins if they went extinct it would be caused by *pollution (heavy metals, sewage, PCB, rain water drains, plastic, co2 emissions) *overfish (80% of all fishery's are over fished and kill many dolphins by net so there's lack of prey and population decrease) *habitat loss (marine farming, tidal power and areas with a lot of boating activity) all these factors are the worst threats a dolphin has if we do not stop doing this they will go extinct. this could cause a collapse in the food chain but i do not believe from fish population increase as populations of fish are only getting smaller and smaller.
