Hinduism is NOT a religion. It is a way of life. Daily activity in ones life mirrors Hinduism. For instance, in our daily (routine) activity, first we bathe, dry, wear clothes, add makeup sit down and enjoy breakfast and look smart before presenting ourselves to others. Exactly same as the ceremony carried out for deities upon being invited with assistance of all those Sanskrut mantras.
Just a clarification, the actual religion is known as Sanatan Dharma according to the Vedic Scriptures. That, however, is another matter for another day. For now, 'One Feature of Hinduism' is mentioned herein as the title suggests.
Another opinionDharma indeed is a way of life. One needs a religion to abide by his dharma. Humans have one dharma and animals have another. Why must we have bath, do make up to look smart? We do so because we are not able to maintain our appearance. We follow religion for the same reason because we are not able to live according to our given dharma.
We strive to perform karma, which are good, acquire knowledge, and express devotion to remain righteous because righteousness is not a part of our conduct. We try to bring righteousness into our conduct through conscious efforts because it is not naturally present in us.
One salient feature of Hinduism is that God and universe are the same. In Hinduism, they believe that all are Brahmans. The epics Ramayana and Mahabharata depict ideal characters of human beings. If all emulate these characters, they would be able to lead a righteous life and thus, abide by their dharma.

∙ 7y agoHinduism focuses on Dharma (righteous living) Artha (material prosperity) Moksha (liberation). It also focuses on Purity (shaucham) and tapah. Non violence is also one of the main feAtures of Hinduism.
