Trojan- A horse that infects the computer Worm- Makes computers stop Cakes- A type of infection that makes your computers stop from downloads Bug- Bugs that store and infect in your computer
The main types of computer viruses that can harm hardware and software include file infectors, which attach themselves to executable files and spread when the program is run, and macro viruses, which target applications like Microsoft Office by embedding malicious code in documents. Boot sector viruses infect the master boot record, affecting the system startup process, while polymorphic viruses change their code to evade detection. Additionally, ransomware encrypts files and demands payment for access, posing significant risks to both data and system functionality.

Viruses primarily consist of two main structures: the viral genome and the protein coat, known as the capsid. The viral genome can be composed of either DNA or RNA, which carries the genetic information necessary for replication. The capsid protects the viral genome and aids in the delivery of the virus into host cells. Some viruses also have an additional lipid envelope derived from the host cell membrane, which helps with infection.
Most infections in children are caused by viruses.
There are three different types of viruses. The first one is Macro Viruses. Macro Viruses use to infect and spread to other files viewed by that software. For example Word and Excel have macros and macro viruses can spread by exploiting these commands. The second type of virus is called Worms. Worms duplicate themselves and use communications such as email to spread. They can look at your email address book and send themselves to users in your address book. The third type of a virus is called Trojan. Trojan Horses are programs that say they perform a particular function but in fact do something different, for real they could infect your computer with a virus or erase your files. Viruses can be stopped by activating an anti-virus program, this allows you to scan all of the files programs and everything else on your computer for viruses, and if it finds some then they will be deleted.
Too many to list but the main categories are worms and trojans.
The main bloodborne infection concerns are HIV, hepatitis B, and hepatitis C. These viruses can be transmitted through contact with infected blood and bodily fluids, posing significant health risks. They can lead to chronic diseases, liver damage, and increased mortality if not properly managed. Prevention strategies, including safe practices and vaccinations, are crucial in reducing the spread of these infections.
