There is no main smell, It's a country I don't think an entire nation has one national smell smells vary depending on where you are. Low income impovrished areas tend to have unpleasant smells, cities tend to have varied smells depending on where you are, if you're near restaurants then yopu smell food, if you're near a factory then you will have a chemical like odor and if you are in the country the smell is like being out in the prairies
