In English there are no masculine or feminine forms. English uses gender specific nouns for male or female.

The noun 'poet' is a common gender noun, a word for a male or a female who writes poetry.

An obsolete word for a female who wrote poetry was a poetess.

A poet. In past times 'poetess' was used but this is now seen to be an unnecessary suffix, since one's activity, job, profession, skill need not specify one's gender. If you need to do so then 'a woman poet' or 'a female poet' does the trick.
