HS 11379 Referred to as "Transportation" cases, these cases usually involve the defendant being stopped while driving a motor vehicle and then found to be in possession of a controlled substance. Note that unlike HS 11360 cases (Transportation of Marijuana), an individual charged with HS 11379 does not have to be transporting large quantities of a controlled substance. These cases are classified as felonies and carry a prison sentence of 2 to 4 years.

California law, possession of drug paraphernalia.
Most people think it is simply possession of a narcotic, but the Health and Safety Codes for possession are specific. HS 11350 is possession of heroin or other opiates. There is a letter after the code or both a letter and number. 11350 A HS represents possession of heroin for personal use, 11350 (A) (2) HS represents possession of opiates classified as schedule 3,4,or 5. There are different Health Codes for other narcotics - 11377 is for amphetamines, Ketamine, MDMA (Ecstasy), LSD, AND PCP - as well as different letters and numbers after representing intent to sell, transportation, buying with intent to sell, and schedule of the narcotic.
Section 11379-A of the Health and Safety Code in California is a drug trafficking section, the punishments for which are two to nine years in prison.

This can be a difficult question to answer, not only because band sizes fluctuate from year to year, but because some bands only march upperclassmen and/or hold out alternates.Arcadia HS from Arcadia is usually the biggest, ranging between 375 and 425 members.Reedley HS from Reedley is often close behind, with between 275 and 350 members.James Logan HS from Union City is frequently between 225 and 275 members. After that it gets tough to figure out, as there are dozens of bands in California that routinely march around or over 200 members.
