I think you can, but you have to be careful not to put hot ware on something wet, because the difference in temperature will destroy the dish. But as a caution I would not use it on stove top, because the corning ware was not designed for this kind of cooking

Most collecters recommend no more than 425 degrees for vintage / pyroceramic Corning Ware unless the piece is in pristine (not even any scratches) condition. I have personally gone 450 with worn pieces without problems. Remember to reduce the oven temperature 25 degrees below the recipe directions as you would with any glass bake ware.
