unlimited.....to a point... its not voltage that kills people its amperage. Amperage is the pushing force behind electricity. I, an automotive technician, have been shocked by the secondary ignition system on cars more times than i would like to remember and some of those shocks have been upwards of 50,000 volts. The shock didn't phase me one bit except for the taste of copper in my mouth. So once the voltage reaches a high enough amount and there was enough amperage to push it.... i.e. through the air and into your body. It only takes 50 milliamps to kill a person which is .050 amps. hope this helped.
