According to Lewis & Short and Liddel, Scott, Jones, this word did not exist in Greek or Latin. Anything with -ph- would have to be originally Greek. If you gave us more context, it might be clear what the author meant to express by this word. The Greek verbal stem treph- usually means "to feed, raise, educate", but no word trephasma would regularly be formed from that.
