Day of Goodwill is an opportunity for families and friends to extend their Christmas celebrations and relaxation. The celebration of this day can be traced back to middle ages in British culture where gifts in boxes were given to less privileged people of society by placing the boxes prior to Christmas itself with monetary or donations in the boxes. In South Africa people will spend this day at beaches and this day is a great opportunity to spend the day with friends and family.
