A realist narrative is a storytelling approach that aims to depict events and characters in a realistic and believable manner, often focusing on everyday life and ordinary people. It typically avoids fantastical or melodramatic elements in favor of portraying situations that could feasibly happen in the real world, aiming to capture the complexity and nuances of human experiences. Writers of realist narratives often seek to explore social issues, psychological truths, and the intricacies of relationships in a straightforward and authentic way.
