Hopefully you will have help. You can do this with only one person but it is safer and easier to do it with two.
1. Roll the person away from you to the other half of the bed. The pt with be held on their side by the second worker.
2. The person not holding the pt rolls the soiled bed linen towards the patient. All bed linen will be rolled tightly and tucked as far under the patients side as possible.
3. the person not holding the pt will then apply the clean bed linen to their side of the bed. The other half will the be rolled and placed under the soiled lined that is rolled under the patient. Note the clean linen must be placed under. If you place above the soiled linen, the clean linen will become soiled. When you are finished one half of the bed will be made up.
4. Then the patient will then be rolled over the soiled and clean linen roll and now be rolled to the other side of the bed and will be held on their side by the person who was originally making the bed.
5. The person on the other side of the bed now not holding the pt will simply remove the soiled linen, and straighten the clean linen on the bed.
6. When finished, position the pt for comfort and you are finished.
You can do it if the patient is unresponsive or can move in the bed to help you but cannot get out of the bed.
To change soiled bed linen with the resident still in the bed, first roll the resident onto one side. Remove the soiled linen from that side and replace it with clean linen. Then roll the resident onto his other side, so that he is positioned on the clean sheet. Finish removing the soiled linen and bring the clean sheet over to finish covering the mattress to complete the job.

There is no standard method of purchasing hotel linen as the methods vary. However, what normally happens is hotels choose any particular supplier e.g Buyhotellinen, make a deal and get their linen orders. If all is well, their business relationship extends to long time. The relation can be affected by low-quality material or many other factors. On the other hand, many hotels buy linen products locally without needing any supplier.
