Firstly mix the water well to make sure all of the sugar has dissolved. Then, depending on the weight of the chalk (whether it is in chunks or powder form) it will either sink to the bottom of the mixture of float on top. If the chalk is floating on top, you can simply scoop it out. Otherwise, pour the mixture through some filter paper to separate the chalk from the sugar water. Now, once the chalk is separated, you can boil the water to evaporate it, leaving just the sugar behind.
Mix in a little water, dissolve the sugar. Filter to separate the bird seed. Evaporate the water and the sugar crystals will reappear.
Pour it into a shallow dish and allow the water to evaporate away, which will leave sugar crystals behind.
A magnet will cause the iron to adhere and separate. Or adding water will dissolve the sugar and the iron can be filtered out and then the water evaporated from the sugar.

Yes!!!! Put the mixture in water. The Sugar will dissolve. The Sand will remain solid. Then filter. The sand will be trapped in the filter paper, and thr dissolved sugar will pass through the filter paper. The regain the sugar crystals., gently heat and evaporate the water of solution. and sugar crystals will reappear.
