The most accurate rifle bullet is the one shot by the best marksman...

Boat tails... DTAC...

That is right it is the marksman but to get technological the most accurate bullet is the chaytac 408. Bullet

Sorry... but this claim that they .408 CheyTac is more accurate than any other cartridge is unfounded. 0.5 MOA is not unique to that cartridge, and such long range performance is only achieved in purpose built rifles firing a cartridge which is optimized for that specific rifle.

A projectile leaving a barrel does not leave in a straight line. The trajectory it takes is determined by a combination of muzzle velocity, pitch rate (rate of rifling twist), gravity, wind speed and direction, etc. The .408 is no more immune to these factors than any other cartridge.

CheyTac claimed a G1 ballistic coefficient with their 419 grain cartridge, but independent testing has failed to recreate these same results.

Depends on the rifle. A .22 is accurate to about 100 yards, can fire a bullet about 1.5 miles. A .338 Lapua is accurate to about 1500 yards, and can fire a bullet ABOUT 5 miles.

What is the difference from a rifle bullet shell from a sniper bullet shell?

The correct term is cartridge- which is the cartridge case, primer, powder, and bullet. A sniper rifle is simply an accurate, long range rifle that is used by a sniper. It may look exactly like my long range hunting rifle- since most military sniper rifles BEGAN as a civilian hunting weapon.

What is the most accurate load using a 130 grain bullet for a 270 WIN Browning A-Bolt?

You have to work up the most accurate load for your particular rifle. Each rifle will respond differently to changes in bullets, powder charge, seating depth, etc. What is an accurate load in one rifle may shoot poorly in another and vice versa.

How far does a 303 caliber bullet travel?

The .303 Enfield rifle can fire a bullet about 2 to 2.5 miles- but is not accurate beyond about 600 meters.

How far can a 270 rifle travel?

A bullet fired from a .270 can travel about 5 miles. It is accurate to about 900 yards.

When a bullet is fired from a rifle does the bullet have a greater momentum and kinetic energy than the rifle?

The momenta of the rifle and the bullet are equal and opposite. The bullet has greater kinetic energy than the rifle.

What is an analogy that goes with bow and arrow?

Rifle and bullet (The bullet is dependent on the rifle to accomplish its purpose)

What is the difference between a rifle and a gun?

Gun can refer to a long gun or a hand gun. A rifle is very particular. It has to have grooved barrel which spin the bullet when it is going down the barrel. This spin action on the bullet makes it more accurate.

What are the purpose of rifling in the gun?

The purpose is to make the bullet spin as it leaves the rifle. The spin makes the bullet travel in a straight line, and allows for accurate shooting at longer distances.

Is the Intervetion a real sniper rifle?

Yes it is and it is also the most accurate sniper rifle in the world, with a bullet spread of .3 centimeters up to a mile+ away. it shoots a .408 round which can penetrate armored helicopters and lightly armored vehicles.

What does a barrel assembly do on a rifle?

The barrel guides and accelerates the bullet out of the rifle, and imparts spin to the bullet to stabilize the bullet in flight.

When a bullet is fired from a rifle?

When a bullet is fired from a rifle, a chemical reaction in the gunpowder ignites, rapidly expanding gases build up pressure, and the bullet is propelled out of the barrel at high speed. The rifling in the barrel causes the bullet to spin, improving accuracy and stability. Gravity will eventually cause the bullet to drop due to gravity and air resistance.
