well, it depends on what you are doing. usually, most animation and software developing programs are for PC. most professionals use PC however because they are cheap, and work. but... i would recommend looking for if the things you will be doing are available on PC or mac. otherwise, i would recommend mac because they can be nerdy as a PC, and at the same time, easy enough for a 5 year old to use. best of luck, he anonomus person who wrote this.

Every Power Supply has a peak wattage and a constant wattage, but it isn't uncommon for only one or the other to be advertised and not both. Peak Wattage is how many amps the PSU can give out for a short period of time before overheating. The length of time a PSU can sustain this peak wattage is generally about 30-60 seconds. Constant Wattage is how many amps the PSU can give out nonstop. This number is always less than its Peak Wattage counterpart. Constant Wattage is usually (but not always) rated at 40c. For example, if we assume a 75% efficiency between peak and constant wattage, a PSU may be advertised at 500 Watts peak, but may only do 375 Watts constant.
